After we’ve made an analysis of your venue(s) or services comprise of:

  • Supply of a short-term activation strategy (and rollout) to fix the food environment, menu change, and personnel/HR assistance to re-calibrate to more efficient and better quality food outcomes (average 6-8 weeks ) involving using our top chefs and hospitality professionals, all with extensive high performing aged-care venue experience, who alternate through the venue over a set timeframe to monitor, mentor and lift your department. 
  • Provision of a blueprint (and rollout) for a secondary programme which follows from the first to enhance staff scenarios and lay foundations for year-to-year strong performance and success. In this stage, we work with finance, clinical and HR to fully emancipate your venue into a national best practice case study. 
  • Accreditation preparation 
  • General geriatric clinical advice, nursing and care staff advice, and food services consultation at any stage for existing clients.

FAQs

Our facility runs relatively well, except for the kitchen. Can you help and how much will it cost?

The advice we can offer for your kitchen operation is one of our points of difference. To our knowledge, there are no other serious consultancy firms in Australia that can give state of the art direction and then implement it. We don’t try to fit a square peg in a round hole. We approach the kitchen with a whole new, revolutionary Australian first. After we’ve analyzed your operation and then explained this approach to you in detail, we can then to varying degrees depending on the strength and condition of your team and budget, implement the rollout of a new format of kitchen operation that takes your venue to a national best practice standard within a calendar month. The costs around this vary, but the initial work we would do costs between 13-18k. A full rollout can look like 80-130k, but that includes over 12 months of deeply integrated work, and can in essence cost less than trying to find the perfect chef. 

Does your firm make site visits or is most of it done remotely?

We get on site. Our project team and advisors are able to work in all states and territories of Australia’s Aged Care sector and hold current and valid licenses (i.e. blue cards, working with children checks etc). Some  of our maintenance and follow up is remote from time to time. 

Our facility gained a very high ranking in our recent accreditation round, our food services dept runs smoothly and we have a long term chef. why would we need to engage your services?

Our advisory clients can be basically split into two categories – high performing and low performing. Each may or may not be undergoing capital works redevelopment, or require a range of services from our list. If your facility is running well, perhaps consider taking it to the next level, and future proof your success in case any key roles move on. We offer cross-pollination programmes called ‘Stagiers’ that act as a form of insurance if something goes south. If we ‘ve assisted you to employ some state of the art, international standard software and workflow to further mature your already high performing facility, then odds are, if something doesn’t go to plan down the track, we know your operation and can assist you to recover quickly back to your original position. Often the day to day success is all in the IP of just a few key roles.

We are planning major capital upgrades to our campus(es) in the coming 12-24 months. What services do you offer?

This is a critical juncture to get right .We have extensive experience in services planning and architectural liaison to get the most efficient kitchen and dining room plans laid. Having assessed your plans and liaised with your architect / builder, we can advise you on how to propagate a whole new mindset for your department into the new plant and facility, so that old problems don’t reappear in a new setting. 

There are a variety of services that our multidisciplinary team looks at if this sounds like your organization. The distillation of all our team member’s advice into a couple of simple, strategic messages with deep meaning is our skill and our service to you. 

What do you mean by AI decision science tools?

We have powerful software and software partners, some of which run on AI. For example, if we want to ‘heat map’ how staff move around a dining room, we will use third-generation looping cameras that don’t take photos but instead look at gait and hospitality engagement. Another example might be the data that we draw on for financial modelling to explain to you how you can make ancillary revenue streams should your governance model require it.
